The Street Photography Addiction Test (SPAST)
Has it ever occured to you, that you're already addicted or rapidly tumbling towards trouble? The Street Photography Addiction Test is the first validated and reliable measure of addiction to Street Photography. Developed by Dr. Mary E. Cimetta and her esteemed collaborator Dr. Stamatis Grigoropoulos, the SPAST is a 10-item questionnaire that measures mild, moderate, and severe levels of Street Photography Addiction.
To assess your level of addiction, answer the following questions and then add your points
1. Can you get through the week without street shooting?
4 = Never
3 = Rarely.
2 = Occasionally.
1 = Often.
0 = Always
2. How often do you find that you stay out street shooting longer than you intended?
0 = Never
1 = Rarely.
2 = Occasionally.
3 = Often.

If you had a childhood like mine, you'll have enjoyed spending much of it in Water parks, whether these were in built up urban areas or on the coast. So you'll remember that sound of screaming (with happiness!), laughing, the smell of hot dogs, and the feeling of warm concrete on bare feet. It certainly stirs up some memories - and it's easy to picture all of that when looking at the below. How sad it is though, that these places no longer have the echo of children's laughter, and are no longer captured in family photographs. Instead they're explored by your average Urbex'r in a desperate bid to preserve history!

We are looking for adminsDear members,
The #r72 infrared photography group is currently looking for people who are interested in becoming part of the administrator team. We are doing this because some of the “old” admins have become too occupied with other tasks, and also to enrich the group with new ideas. As an admin of #r72 your main responsibilities would be the following:
- Participate in the voting process by which we select the photographs which make it into our gallery. This involves writing an explanatory message to members whose submission was declined.
- Compile the monthly “Best of” feature (we take turns, so you don’t have to do it every month).
- Discuss current topics with the other admins.
- Keep your eyes open for good IR pictures and potential new members of the group.
You don’t have to be a professional photographer who has been shooting infrared pictures since before it was considered cool. However, some experience is clearly called for, since you

Day twoSo as of today I am at day two of my new photography adventure. I have Placed all my photos I deemed acceptable on here with a water mark. If there is anyone who would like to use one as a practice piece for drawing and such, feel free to message me and I will consider each, one case by case. I am trying to sell these art pieces, however I understand the plight of a new artist needing material to practice from. I am more than willing to consider sending the original digital file to a person if they request for these reasons. I request that it not become a published piece however unless it is drastically different than the original and I would still like to be credited for your base art. Thanks to all.
